I've only seen it served once (and they ran out just before I got up the counter), but that Hot Dog Soup was rumored to be out of this world. I had to settle for the tomato basil, but it wasn't really settling, as the tomato basil is out of this world. Settling was what I did in the 8th grade, with Mary Beth Motherton. She wasn't good enough for me and I should have known it. My mom sure did. She (Mary Beth, not my mom) turned her nose up at Erik's pickles (!!) and for that, she will never be forgiven. NEVER!

Ian, your commitment to a Hot Dog at Erik's is commendable! And your comment brought a smile to Raging Bull's face (poor Mary Beth)...Glad to hear you are a fan of the tomato basil, and we'll see about "hot dog soup!" When asked to respond to Ian's comment with a similar comment, all Pilgrim's Progress could do is shake his/her had and state, "I got nothing, but I do like the Butternut Squash! Does that count?"
