If you were a winner (or posted last time), Gift Cards are in the mail and your Pot Belly Perks Points will be added! (if you have questions about Points or want to double check your balance please do not hesitate to Contact Us)

Thank you also for the comments! The comments for "Your Passport to Flavor" were great and definitely brought a smile to Pilgrim's Progress! Who knew sandwiches could smile! : )

Hopefully you had a chance to visit some of the links on the Email! Please be sure to check out our Facebook page for more Giveaways and Erik's News!

A GOO TIMES GIVEAWAY: August 26, 2011 ("Join the Conversation")

For this Goo Times Giveaway we will be mixing it up by offering ten (10) five-dollar ($5.00) Gift Cards! And continuing our "tradition," the first person to post and our "best comment" winner will each receive one (1), ten dollar ($10.00) Gift Card!

However, we will also be "distributing" ten (10) FREE Pot Belly Perks Points to everyone who posts and did not win a Gift Card! (if you do not have a Pot Belly Perks Card yet, please contact the Goo Times and we can help you out!)

The five-dollar ($5.00) Gift Cards will be given away via a drawing!

Join the Conversation! For this Goo Times Giveaway, please just leave a comment or say hi! While we'd be happy to hear your thoughts on our "What's New" items or the Social Media Platforms you use, there are no "comment requirements" for this Giveaway as it's all about "Joining the Conversation!" (that last sentence was a Pilgrim's Progress contribution he/she loves a play on words!)

All comments received after 1pm on Friday, August 26, 2011 will be eligible for the drawing. Those comments received after 5pm on Monday, August 26, 2011 will not be eligible.

For example, I Raging Bull just want to say hi! As a "sandwich with character" I'm impartial to Facebook, however, I enjoy Twitter for quick updates and as a pseudo news feed! I also want to give a "shout out" to the Roman Holiday! I tried it on Sourdough the other day and it was delicious!

Winners will be picked at random based on comments left below. Please check back in with the Goo Times to see if you are a winner!

Thanks!
Till Next Time...

And Now...Without further "a goo" our 8/16/11 Winners!

OUR "PILGRIM'S PROGRESS GREAT COMMENT WINNER IS...

  • danceswithpuns

Wow, this looks like an exciting world tour! My best friend and I plan to get out our passports, and take the tour first to our local Erik's! She's going to order the Roman Holiday, and I'm ordering the Torta de Barbacoa. Then.... we're swapping sandwich halves to try them both. That's the first leg of the world tour...

Then, later in the week, we'll take our passports to the Erik's Deli closest to Capitola Beach, and order a Banh Mi sandwich, and decide which other new one on the spur of the moment. We'll take those to go, and sit down on the benches at the seawall to imagine other far away places, and decide on the next leg of the world journey for the following weeks!

Pilgrim's Progress says, I "dance with puns" every time I put pen to paper so what's not to love about this comment! Jumping in, Raging Bull adds, thank you for the wonderful comment, we hope you enjoyed the journey!!!

Hello Eriks,

I would like to request more vegetarian options. We go there on and off for lunch, and 4 of our office group are veggies, so the more vegetarian sandwiches and soups you have, the more chance we will go there regularly.

Thanks so much!

Over the years, even WAY back before social media, Erik's has always been the place to go for the best sandwiches, salads, and soups. Thanks for always being there!!

Ooooh, the Roman Holiday sounds fabulous! I think I will try it without the Peck of Pepperoncinis, though.

Got my Pot Belly Perks card in hand. Erik's will really hit the spot after soccer practice!

As for social media, I am a Facebook gal all the way. I'm just too verbose for Twitter's character limit. :-)

Hiiiiiiiii!!!!

I love Erik's Deli Sandwiches. I'm lucky enough to live practically right around the corner from one. I love how they're fresh and tasty, as well as so creative. I always have a hard time picking just one sandwich. Lucky for me my son & I both come along, so I can always sample just a bite of their sandwiches. :)
I had myself a Bahh Mi, wow that's all I gotta say!
I'm quite the chatter bug when it comes to the social media...Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Yelp...I'm into them all. It's amazing when a business manager recognizes you from a review you've written online. Quite flattering, I must say!

Until next time...

My tastebuds are saying "hi" from a three day holiday around the world! Monday I took in Italy, Tuesday, Mexico, and on Wednesday I spent time in Vietnam. Anyway, my tastebuds did and they didn't want to come home!

I have been away from Erik's for a while. My husband and I recently went there for lunch while shopping. Now I remember why I love Erik's so much! The butternut squash soup is fabulous. And all of our items were made with ingredients that tasted like you guys shop at the farmers market. I won't stay away for long again.

I like that Erik's DeliCafe adds new menu items to change things up a bit. I'll have to try the Roman Holiday as its looks quite tempting.

I was at Erik's Deli today and noticed that they are making Abbott's Habit with a lot less secret goo than they used to. The sandwich doesn't taste as good as it used to and I'm not sure if it's because there is less secret goo or because they may have reduced the size of the cheese they put in it. I have to admit it was disappointing how the sandwhich tastes now. I thought last time I had an Abbott's Habit I also noticed it didn't taste the same. I wonder if secret goo and cheese reduction is part of some calorie reduction effort to make the sandwich have fewer calories?

Hi! On a lark, I tried the Chicken Pesto today. Sorry, Raging Bull but I think I may have found a new favorite. It just needs a clever moniker ...
