A GOO TIMES GIVEAWAY (WE ARE BACK!!!): 3/17/11 (WITH 1/27/11 WINNERS)

Hello Everyone! The Goo Times is back!

We are sorry for the large gap in Goo Times Giveaways. As you can see our website recently underwent some changes that we hope you enjoy!

We will now be able to provide up to date information on our home page, including announcements about recent changes and offerings (such as Gluten Free Bread and Wraps).

Also be sure to periodically check out "Seasonal Soup Selections" to see if one your favorites is coming to an Erik's Near You!

We will also be using our Facebook Fan Page to provide updates on Community Events and other Erik's News!

For each Goo Times Giveaway we will also provide a quick "look to the future" to let you know what is "On Deck" at Erik's:

  • Week of March 28, 2011: be on the look out for the launch of Erik's Pot Belly Perks Loyalty Program (and an Email Club Blast!). However, if your interested in helping us "test out" our Program, stop by an Erik's Near You next week!

  • Tuesday, April 5, 2011: our Spring "What's New" Launches! Please check out our Facebook Page or www.eriksdelicafe.com for more information! And be on the look out for an Email Blast that week with a coupon offer for Email Club Members only

A GOO TIMES GIVEAWAY: MARCH 17, 2011 ("Check it Out")

For this Goo Times Giveaway we will be giving away ten (10), five dollar ($5.00) Gift Cards! And now, the first person to post and our "best comment" winner will each receive one (1), ten dollar ($10.00) Gift Card!

The ten (10), five dollar ($5.00) Gift Cards will be given away via a drawing!

LOOK AT WHAT'S NEW: to be eligible, just say "hi" and if you'd like let us know of any other additions you'd like to see to the website!

All comments received after 11am on Thursday, March 17, 2011 will be eligible for the drawing. Those comments received after 5pm on Monday, March 21, 2011 will not be eligible.

For example, I Raging Bull say "hi" to everyone. For our site I'm looking forward to adding videos, online ordering and other features!

Winners will be picked at random based on comments left below. Please check back in with the Goo Times to see if you are a winner!

Thanks!
Till Next Time...

And Now...Without further "a goo" our 1/27/11 Winners!

It's Rap Wrap....

THE GOO by Jason Creekpaum

Eriks is Slamming, Eriks is Great
I loves me the sandwiches them wraps are great!
All of the homies roll down the lane
hoping for a bite of that famous twang

Of the Goo...OF THE GOO.. PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR THE GOO! DON'T BE A SHMOO...TRY THE GOO!

I've been rappin and Eriks' is wrappin
and I'm for those wraps I'm a clappin
Now I'm thirsty and my tummy's growlin
so to Erik's I'm a Prowlin

FOR THE GOO...FOR THE GOO! Put your hands together for the Goo! Don't be a Shmoo...Try the Goo!

Pilgrim Progress responds, "I love it!" One of the best! This "wrap rap" (the play on words is great!) might have to go up (and stay up) on our Website and our Facebook Fan Page! In fact Pilgrim's Progress has a "rap" to..."Thai Chicken is great/It has mangos/It is delici..." At this point, Raging Bull stepped in to put an end to the attempt saying, "as part of the new look, no "raps" or "wraps" from Pilgrim's Progress!!!" : )

Looking forward to checking out the web site changes. Online ordering would be the bomb! And mobile online ordering would be even better. Not that I would order while driving, of course. ;-)

And I didn't realize your site had nutritional information. Can't I just pretend that since your sandwiches are so nutritious and delicious, the calories are minimal? :-D

Well I am a bit too late this time. In my opinion, the first post to win this time is either "house of nina" or "shirley p," depending how you define hi. People do not follow the simplest of directions.

Hi. (or possibly Howdy). I love Eriks and have since the beginning. I happen to be a vegetarian, and so my suggestions naturally are in that area. I suggest Eriks always have at least two vegetarian soups, and that the various veggie sandwiches that have been on again and off again as specials, become regular menu items. I really love the farmer's market, and have eaten the natural high for decades.

Like new website. I am health conscious and always looking for good, healthy, low calorie meals. I love farmers market, but looking for maybe a salad version (with light dressing)rather than a sandwich sometimes..can you expand your salad offerings (I would love a greek salad (even one in a wrap). I havne't tried the new mediteranean wrap yet, but look forward to it.

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love if you guys could put the nutritional information of Erik's Goo on your website. Or just individual items (meats, veggies, cheeses, bread, etc). It would make it SO much easier for me since I'm on a health/weight loss journey & often ask for no goo (sadly) on my sandwich.

"HI!" I have loved Erik's for many years, I especially like the 'Square Meal' combo of a sammy and a salad. My favorite sammys are Abbotts Habit and Marrakech Express and of course all the 'sinful' baked goodies. I love that you have the nutrition info posted and love the new site! Keep up the great customer service!!!

I want to say "Hello" to you from countries far and near
and offer these suggestions up to those who want to hear.
I like your menu layout with all it's yummy choices
I like the way the Goo Times listens to our voices

Your Facebook page is awesome and your Twitter is the best
It's obvious that Erik's is a cut above the rest.
Your out in the community, and working hard there too,
so there is only one more thing I'd like to see you do.

I'd like to see a one-time page, or tribute of some kind
to highlight the employee that's the best one you can find.
You know the one I'm speaking of that goes the extra mile,
who always does their best to go the extra mile.

The one who knows us by our name (the regulars) and such,
who makes our meal the way we like because we're there so much!
What better idea for the next contest here at The Goo Times,
I'm sure we all have someone like this if we search our minds.

We love you Erik's and we love the outreach things you do,
we'd like to show your employees how much we love them too!

Hi Ian! we are still around...Have an Email Club Blast going out today (real real soon). Thanks for checking in. We definitely haven't gone anywhere, but we do apology for the gaps. We've been tinkering with our Site and added a Loyalty Club and we are trying to connect the Goo Times and Erik's Email Club to both, which caused some delays with Giveaways, etc. However, thanks for sticking with us! We are hoping we can continue to improve with the Goo Times and our Email Club!
