Every time I go to Erik’s I enjoy of the friendly environment, the menu is excellent, healthy and original. I like every single item on the menu, especially the salads; but most important Erik’s menu helped me to keep track of the calories. This summer my husband and I treat ourselves as often as we could having lunch or diner at Erick’s. My favorite salad is Shrimp Louie (very low calories) and my husband’s favorite are the gorgonzola salad and the torta de barbacoa; very traditional mexican sandwich with all ingredients and traditional flavors. Thank you Erik’s DeliCafé. Looking forward to flavor your soups this Fall and Winter.
Thank you for the wonderful post! We are glad you enjoy the Shrimp Louie salad, it was a What's New item that we brought back to our permanent menu! (and as an "fyi" the same may occur with the BBQ Pulled Pork, just don't let anyone know you heard this rumor from the Goo Times!)

Sweet Liberty would make a great costume and we can honor the Statue of Liberty's 125th birthday by dressing up Sweet Liberty with a crown, torch and book to look like her. We can have the turkey breast as the body, the 9-grain wheat bread as the book, have the red bell peppers cut up to look like the crown and make the swiss cheese look like the torch. As for Erikls sweet hot mustard, we can use that to draw on the bread the roman numerals "July IV, MDCCLXXVI" for July 4, 1776, just like on the real Statue of Liberty's book cover.

Oh, I forgot to say that the red onions, tomatoes and sprouts can go neatly under the bread.

Although not a Sandwich with Character, the Annie Ankle Bitter would be the best costume. Maybe Annie Ankle Bitter would have an escort of Raging Bull while visiting Pilgrims Progress over by Rio Grande discussing our dear Sweet Liberty... But watch out Tommy Turkey might just run a muck and then he might end up in Walnut Pesto.

I'm looking forward to trying Erik's again after a long absence. There's nothing as good as Erik's in the Central Valley or Southern California.

I would definitely have to say that Raging Bull would make the best costume.

Pilgrim's Progress because Halloween just wouldn't be complete without a few Pilgrims in the mix.
