A Goo Times Giveaway: February 25, 2010

"Goo" Morning Everyone! It's time for another "Goo Times Giveaway!"
Please let us know your favorite soup at Erik's! As always, we will be giving away ten (10) free sandwich cards based on a drawing, so please leave a comment to be eligible. The giveaway will be open until Monday, March 1 at10am. All comments received after that time will not be eligible.
For example, I Raging Bull, am a "CVR" fan (i.e. chicken vegetable rice, all the cool kids call it "CVR", hahaha!). Although, seeing the Beef Stew in stores for a limited time takes me back to when beef stew was a permanent soup and my favorite...
Check back with the Goo Times on Monday to see if you are a winner! If you are a winner, please email your mailing address to: thegootimes@eriksdelicafe.com and we'll get your free sandwich card out to you asap.
Till Next Time...

I love the clam chowder! I could do with less potatoes, but its still awesome - especially in a bread bowl.
My favorite is the chili (does this count as soup?! It seems too thick!). I love adding the cheese and onions to perfection!
I love the tomato bisque, by far my favorite. The special soups though, the jambalaya was to die for and the kicken chicken. sooooooo good.

The tomato bisque is definitely my favorite! Pair it up with a 1/2 Erik Burger for the perfect comfort food on a winters day.
chicken vegetable rice is yummy.
Texas Jailhouse Chili wins "hands down" at our house. It's great at any time of the year, but is especially good in winter.
My favorite is the Tomato bisque by far. Just feels like summer (even in winter).
i love the tomato basil bisque anyday, everyday!

My favorite was the corn chowder that was available for a little while, but my favorite everyday soup is the clam chowder.
Beef Stew!!
I have had soups at erik's many a time but I loved the first soup so much that I have yet to order another kind! Yum vegetarian vegetable!
I heart tomato basil bisque!
Erik's clam chowder is the ultimate comfort food!
Vegetarian vegetable is my choice--it's a yummy vegan soup. It's hard to find decent vegan menu items at local restaurants, so, thanks for making it a daily feature on yours!
Tomato bisque, hands down!
I love the clam chowder in the bread bowl. Where else is it acceptable to eat the bowl after you've finished your soup? I'm sure that would be frowned on in most "fru-fru" restaurants!
I can't wait to try the Butternut Squash soup!
Also, not to be the grammar/spelling freak, but it should be "If you're a winner," as in "you are," not "your," which is possessive. :)
Tomatoe basil wasil the taste makes me able to eat eat eat and by the way ms liberty you are so sweet.************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Joseph
Tomato Basil Bisque is De-lish! You also had crab bisque once upon a time, and that was outstanding and life-changing! Yum Yum!
Vegetarian Vegetable is a nice accompaniment to any sandwich!
Love the clam chowder.
Um yeah...the tomato basil bisque is delicious, but I love the chili the most!
Being a Vegetarian, my vote goes for the Vegetarian Vegetable, great combo with Del Monte Sandwich.
Simply Vegelicious...
I like the clam chowder.
When my nose is stuffy and my forehead's on fire
Chicken Vegetable is my heart's desire.
Don't need to ponder while I try to get better
The chicken soup is what I need to go-getter.
Love them all and picking a favorite is not easy. Guess I would have to say the chicken soup - it is good for the soul. The soup bowls are a great idea and a really delicous meal.
Butternut squash - it is like Thanksgiving every time I have it. The best by far.
Vegetarian vegetable - since I am a vegetarian. Grateful that you offer it and so packed with fresh vegetables and goodness. Yummmm....now I have to go to Erik's and have some, just thinking about it.
Chicken-Vegetable-Rice...put it in a bread bowl and I am good to go!
CLam chowder is my favorite soup at Erik's. I could have your clam chowder every day and not grow tired of it!
I very much enjoy chicken/vegetable/rice soup.
Contains just the right amount of tasty morsels
in every bite. "Yummies!" =0)
Tomato basil bisque is wonderful!
Though sometimes, the temperature of your soups is way too hot (at least at my local location). Makes it really hard to eat!
However, given that I like the soup I forgive. :)
I'm partial to the Hot Dog Soup. It's off-menu and you have to special order it, but words cannot describe how wonderful it it. The Tomato Basil is a close second, though as has been mentioned, I must wait about 10 minutes after receiving it to eat it so it can cool down.
I've been a big fan of the Clam Chowder almost since Erik's opened in Scotts Valley. The Vegetarian Vegetable has always been a close second, as well. Admittedly, I've tried almost all the soups when they were available, but it's hard for me to get far from the Clam Chowder and Veggy Vegetable.
Clam chowder is the best . . . especially with a side salad or sandwich.
Years ago I had split pea at the Santa Cruz location on Front Street. It was wonderful, but i've never seen it since. Bring it back!
I always get half chicken pesto and half clam chowder I love it sooo much! I keep wanting to try more but I always end up getting the chowder
I enjoy a bowl of clam chowder during this cold weather...warms me up all over.
Tomato basil bisque. I love dipping my sandwich into it...mmmmm....
Veggie Veg soup rocks!
