Erik's Email Club Members: A Goo Times Giveaway!

Good morning/afternoon everyone!

Sadly our "What's New" promotion came to an end yesterday, taking with it the Cannonball Express (a personal favorite) and the Holiday Sandwich...(although, the Farmer's Market remains as an "off menu" item that we will likely add to our permanent menu in the summer of 2010).

However, before our next What's New launches in March (more details forthcoming), we are running two Limited Time Offers, the French Picnic and a Souper Bowl Combo (also be on the look out for a "Souper Bowl" themed email with special offers)!

The Goo Times is happy to report that the March "What's New" items, will include a return of the Barnbuster and the Bay Shrimp Louie!

We have ten (10) free sandwich cards to giveaway today: please post a comment on whether you'd prefer the French Picnic or the Souper Bowl Combo. All comments posted after Friday at 12pm PST will not be eligible. Please check back with us on Friday to see if you are a winner!

For example: I, Raging Bull, while a fan of both the French Picnic and Souper Bowl Combo, if given the choice, will likely stick with an old favorite, the REO Speedwagon!

Till next time...

Souper Bowl combo. But what I really want is for the Cannonball to be on the perminant menu because I love going here and my husband's favorite thing is the Cannonball and he doesn't like to go as often when the Cannonball isn't an option. Please please please make it part of the "always menu."

I love love love Erik's deli and no matter what appears on the menu, it's all fantastic. I have not met a person yet who can't find something tasty that they enjoy. My favorite has always been the REO Speedwagon, but now that I've gone veggie, I'm on the hunt for a new favorite. I'll just have to try them all!

First, I want to thank the powers that be for bringing an Erik's to Monterey! Hallelujah! As to the choices offered above, they both look delicious. Actually, come to think of it, we've never had a bad meal at Erik's. But, if I had to pick between the two options, I would go with the Souper Bowl and skip the bread (just because of the calories -- not the taste). Just what the doctor ordered to combat the rain and cold. The French Picnic looks and sounds heavenly (I don't think one can ever have TOO much garlic), but I'm not a red meat eater. My personal favorite Erik's sandwich is the Pilgrim's Progress and I may well cry if that is ever taken off the menu. I would sell my soul for the name of your bread supplier -- um, um good! Keep up the great work.
