Erik's Holiday Gifts For You!

Happy Holidays Everyone! (hard to believe its already that time)
We here at Erik's and the Goo Times wish everyone a healthy and happy weekend!
To get the Holidays and the weekend started, the Goo Times is offering ten (10) free sandwich cards to those who post what their favorite Erik's sandwich is for the Holidays! We are also going to give away one (1) $25.00 dollar gift card complete with the booklet that comes with it.
For example, I (Raging Bull) go with the classic for the holidays, an REO Speedwagon, no tomatoes, though I have to admit, it'd probably be the Cannonball Express II if we had it year round (hopefully we will!).
Be sure to check back next Monday as we will hold the drawing that day to announce our winners!
Also be on the look out for more Goo Times offers each week through the New Year as we are looking to giveaway at least one $25.00 gift card a week!

I would have to say French Picnic! I know it is a seasonal one, but it is really really good. You guys need to make that one a regular. The Classic Holiday Sandwich is a close second as it always reminds me of Thanksgiving!
Turkey Walnut Pesto is my absolute favorite year round, not just during the holidays. But 'tis the season, so I'm going to treat myself to a carrot cake after I devour my sandwich.
I love the Natural High!
the turkey walnut pesto is also my favorite year round, all my favorite ingredients put into one, but the classic holiday sandwich is definitley my favorite at the end of the year.
The best one year round is the Del Monte on sourdough with dijon mustard.
The Raging Bull is good year round.
Almost everyday I am in the Watsonville Erik's to get a half Turkey Walnut Pesto with a bowl of awesome soup.
I go with a Pilgrim's Progress - no sprouts. Because sprouts taste like dirt.
The Classic Holiday Sandwich, light on the cranberries. Love that sandwich so much, especialy if you happen to be serving the Butternut Squash soup too! Finished with the pumpkin bread (no nuts) is the best.
My Holiday pick is my classic go-to pick - The REO Speedwagon with everything on it, just how they make it in all its perfection. I can never get enough!!! If the Holidays are a time to celebrate, then I will be celebrating year round with this sandwich!
I'm a sea dog type of girl but when the holidays roll around I always go for Erik's Classic Holiday Sandwich. It's as if I can have thanksgiving dinner anytime all bundled up in this delicious sandwich.
Erik's Deli is my FAVORITE sandwhich spot! It was also my first job. I've been eating the REO speed Wagon since '97 at least. I love the way the meat and cheese combination tastes, and sprouts (if they have them) are the best. And if I get it to go I always remember to ask for a side of those yummy dill pickle spears. Thank you and Happy Holidays ;)
I'd have to say the REO Speedwagon for sure. Although I get it year round, too!
I love the Pilgram's Progress and my husband favors the Abbott's Habit.
Happy Holidays!
I alternate favorites. My picks are either the Turkey Walnut Pesto (with all the fresh healthy ingredients I feel less guilty since we tend to eat so much yummy stuff during the holidays) and my old standby - an Abbotts Habit with no onions. I like this one warmed up on a cool day. Yum yum yum! Happy Holidays.
I just had the Holiday Sandwich and it was just great! The perfect comfort food!!
The staff at Erik's always make great sandwiches, but my favorite has been and will always be the Natural High on whole wheat!!!
The Natural High is my all time fav and a year round staple. The sunflower seeds make it unique and the nutty flavour on a warm sandwich just completes the package. I'm still waiting to try the sourdough soup bowl.
My favorite sandwich is the Pilgrim's Progress with no onion and lettuce instead of sprouts. It's THE perfect sandwich! It's the only thing I get when I eat at Erik's, with a side of pasta and some sparkling apple juice.
I'm pregnant and seriously crave my favorite sandwich, an Reo Speedwagon, no onions, light goo, all the time! I usually get it with a side of soup. So delicious!
pilgrim's progress, hands down!
I LOVE the Natural High-- With ALL the veggies and works on it :) That comes from a true Vegetarian!
PILGRIM’S PROGRESS is always my fav all year round!
Pilgrim's Progress is my everyday favorite...but for the holidays I LOVE Erik's Classic Holiday Sandwich with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce on rosemary herb bread. YUM! It's Thanksgiving in a sandwich!
Love the Pilgrims Progress! Definitely my favorite!
Love the Pilgrims Progress! With everything on it! YUMMM
This TOMATO (BASIL) BISQUE is joyful to not be in the TEXAS JAILHOUSE CHILI cookoff for the holidays. That might be my ABBOT'S HABIT, but I prefer to be on the MARRAKECH EXPRESS getting a POT BELLY and enjoy my SWEET LIBERTY with my favorite SEA DOG. Yes, together we have a NATURAL HIGH eating our favorite meal, the ERIK “BERGER”.
I can't get enough of the Classic Holiday Sandwich this time of year... Yum! Can't go wrong with turkey and cranberry.
You have to go with the REO Speedwagon because it has both ham and turkey so you don't have to choose!!
Erik "berger" no goo add pesto!
I've got two favorites - Raging Bull (NO sprouts) and Abbott's Habit. My sister too, so we get to indulge even more when she comes to visit and we order one of each and then split them. YUMMY.
No matter what the occasion is... it's the same sandwich. Pilgrim's Progress... with swiss... and extra sprouts.
Gotta have my REO speedwagon, no sprouts...it's all about the speed. Run in, run out. Quick lunch that's good for you!
Hard to leave my beloved favorite for the holidays, so it's still the Erik's Berger hold the sprouts. Throw in a hot cup of soup and you have winter comfort! Mmmmmmm good
Del Monte Special, with lettuce instead of sprouts. I've had two in the last week. Yummy!
And if I have your attention...I vote for a return of the Widow Bennett! I miss that melty, cheese deliciousness. RIP
My favorite Erik's sandwich of all time is the REO Speedwagon, and I see that I'm not alone! But I recently tried the Farmer's Market and I was pleasantly surprised that a sandwich with only veggies could taste so delicious! I will definitely be eating that one again soon! Happy Holidays!
mmmm. I love the abbot's habit!
I really like the Abbott's Habit, really delicious, mouth watering perfectly-balanced flavor. My cravings are starting just thinking about it. My husband loves the Erik's Reuben, but can't resist taking bites out of my Abbot's Habit. His excuse is that he's making mine low-cal!
Got to be that Farmer's Market!
No pickles, no onions, no carrots, no seeds, with a bit more of the tangy sweet and spicy mustard. Oh the subtle malty sweetness of the molasses bread combined with the smooth, creamy avocados, topped with crispy veggies! Scotts Valley you make it so fresh and well, keep up the great work.

I'm a huge fan of the REO Speedwagon!
Nothing quite like grabbing the perfect sandwich along with a delicious bowl of tomato bisque. If only I could be eating it right now...
Raging Bull - of course! And do not leave out the peppers.
Raging Bull - of course! And don't leave out the peppers.
The best sandwich all year long is Pilgrim's Progress!! (no onions) YUM!
I really like warm the chicken pesto on nine-grain bread!
Abbot's Habit is the only sandwich for me. :)
I have many favorites but Pilgrim's Progress is a special favorite. I like it just the way it is described in the menu. Perfect with iced tea! Yum!
I like the Chicken Pesto and Vegetarian Vegetable Soup and add some pepper sauce to the soup to spice it up for the holidays. Very nice on a cold day!
Raging Bull is still the reigning champion! French Picnic is challenging that, though. Yum!
I always get the Natural High cold without sprounts so that I can take it home and heat it up right before I eat it. Yummy!
Abbott's Habit is the best since I prefer beef for the holidays!
I absolutely love the Abott's Habit on nine grain w/provolone , and extra goo!!!! I like the pumpkin bread on the side (it's my favorite).

Erik's Pot Belly sandwich is sooooo good. No onions, and no sprouts/sub lettuce. Oh, and the more goo, the better ;)
I would have to go with the pot belly less onion and tomato, extra sprouts. :) Delicious.
The Pilgrims Progress is number 1 all year long! It is even better and plenty moist without the goo!
bg
no list of winners? :(
I go for the "Pilgrims Progress" but the Number 1 sandwich is the warm Rubin it warm your insides when winter outside. OH yes add a bowel of soup for a complete meal.
love Betty Preinitz momboop2002@yahoo.com
I ALWAYS GET MY REO ON WHEAT ,BUT ANYWAYS GOOOOOOOOD AS LONG IS ITS AT ERRIC'S DELI
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
REO is my favorite I just had it for dinner Tuesday

My traditional favorite has always been The Pilgrim's Progress, with easy goo and no sprouts. I have liked it for over 15 years, and never have anything, but that delectable, delicious delicacy.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year !!!

My all time favorite, which I've been eating since 1983, is
THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome! Even had sprouts on it when there was a scare
about eating sprouts/e-coli! Love the crunchy bread and onions
too.
There's no sandwich like this anywhere.
Thanks for staying consistent throughout the years!
