Erik's Holiday Gifts For You!

Happy Holidays Everyone! (hard to believe its already that time)

We here at Erik's and the Goo Times wish everyone a healthy and happy weekend!

To get the Holidays and the weekend started, the Goo Times is offering ten (10) free sandwich cards to those who post what their favorite Erik's sandwich is for the Holidays! We are also going to give away one (1) $25.00 dollar gift card complete with the booklet that comes with it.

For example, I (Raging Bull) go with the classic for the holidays, an REO Speedwagon, no tomatoes, though I have to admit, it'd probably be the Cannonball Express II if we had it year round (hopefully we will!).

Be sure to check back next Monday as we will hold the drawing that day to announce our winners!

Also be on the look out for more Goo Times offers each week through the New Year as we are looking to giveaway at least one $25.00 gift card a week!

I would have to say French Picnic! I know it is a seasonal one, but it is really really good. You guys need to make that one a regular. The Classic Holiday Sandwich is a close second as it always reminds me of Thanksgiving!

Turkey Walnut Pesto is my absolute favorite year round, not just during the holidays. But 'tis the season, so I'm going to treat myself to a carrot cake after I devour my sandwich.

The Classic Holiday Sandwich, light on the cranberries. Love that sandwich so much, especialy if you happen to be serving the Butternut Squash soup too! Finished with the pumpkin bread (no nuts) is the best.

My Holiday pick is my classic go-to pick - The REO Speedwagon with everything on it, just how they make it in all its perfection. I can never get enough!!! If the Holidays are a time to celebrate, then I will be celebrating year round with this sandwich!

I'm a sea dog type of girl but when the holidays roll around I always go for Erik's Classic Holiday Sandwich. It's as if I can have thanksgiving dinner anytime all bundled up in this delicious sandwich.

Erik's Deli is my FAVORITE sandwhich spot! It was also my first job. I've been eating the REO speed Wagon since '97 at least. I love the way the meat and cheese combination tastes, and sprouts (if they have them) are the best. And if I get it to go I always remember to ask for a side of those yummy dill pickle spears. Thank you and Happy Holidays ;)

I alternate favorites. My picks are either the Turkey Walnut Pesto (with all the fresh healthy ingredients I feel less guilty since we tend to eat so much yummy stuff during the holidays) and my old standby - an Abbotts Habit with no onions. I like this one warmed up on a cool day. Yum yum yum! Happy Holidays.

The Natural High is my all time fav and a year round staple. The sunflower seeds make it unique and the nutty flavour on a warm sandwich just completes the package. I'm still waiting to try the sourdough soup bowl.

My favorite sandwich is the Pilgrim's Progress with no onion and lettuce instead of sprouts. It's THE perfect sandwich! It's the only thing I get when I eat at Erik's, with a side of pasta and some sparkling apple juice.

This TOMATO (BASIL) BISQUE is joyful to not be in the TEXAS JAILHOUSE CHILI cookoff for the holidays. That might be my ABBOT'S HABIT, but I prefer to be on the MARRAKECH EXPRESS getting a POT BELLY and enjoy my SWEET LIBERTY with my favorite SEA DOG. Yes, together we have a NATURAL HIGH eating our favorite meal, the ERIK “BERGER”.

My favorite Erik's sandwich of all time is the REO Speedwagon, and I see that I'm not alone! But I recently tried the Farmer's Market and I was pleasantly surprised that a sandwich with only veggies could taste so delicious! I will definitely be eating that one again soon! Happy Holidays!

I really like the Abbott's Habit, really delicious, mouth watering perfectly-balanced flavor. My cravings are starting just thinking about it. My husband loves the Erik's Reuben, but can't resist taking bites out of my Abbot's Habit. His excuse is that he's making mine low-cal!

Got to be that Farmer's Market!

No pickles, no onions, no carrots, no seeds, with a bit more of the tangy sweet and spicy mustard. Oh the subtle malty sweetness of the molasses bread combined with the smooth, creamy avocados, topped with crispy veggies! Scotts Valley you make it so fresh and well, keep up the great work.

My all time favorite, which I've been eating since 1983, is
THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome! Even had sprouts on it when there was a scare
about eating sprouts/e-coli! Love the crunchy bread and onions
too.

There's no sandwich like this anywhere.
Thanks for staying consistent throughout the years!
