November: The Farmer's Market Returns

A Goo Times Exclusive

The Goo Times wanted to give a heads up that it looks like both the Farmer's Market and the Holiday Sandwich will return for Erik's Winter "What's New" program (rolling out in November).
We also have word that an iteration of the "Cannonball Express" will also return.

First person who can identify what the Cannonball Express was, will get a TEN DOLLAR Gift Card from the Goo Times! (THIS GIFT CARD HAS BEEN CLAIMED...But be on the look out for more giveaways!)

Until then hopefully the picture of the Farmer's Market makes your taste buds jealous...

Well there have been many entities to go by the title, Cannonball Express. For example, the 1932 movie starring Tom Moore. But the most famous is of course the train that ran between Norfolk and Richmond VA and which was reportedly so fast it took three men to say, "here she comes," "here she is," and "there she goes."

Adam, I like it! However, we were referring to our previous "Cannon Ball Express" and the ingredients (but looking over the post I can see it could be confusing)...Here is a link to our Facebook Fan Page (which provides the answer): http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=129137&id=154832581586&ref=mf (if you can see it, the cannonball express II is basically our original "cannonball express)...Hopefully you see this reply (and I apologize for the delay) because the Goo Times will get that ten dollar gift card out to you ASAP...

The Cannon Ball Express refers to an Erick's sandwich that was meatballs on sourdough bread with cheese (hot, of course).

Safeway's sandwiches are MUCH better and their soups are far superior to Erik's. Why would I want to pay MORE money at Erik's when I can get a nicer, more fresh sandwich for less AND soup that is far superior than the bagged soup that Erik's sells.

Erik's sandwiches need an overhaul for sure. Take out the fillers such as the sprouts and onions and the goo and I bet there isn't even 1/4 ounce of meat.
