A Goo Times Giveaway: March 5, 2010

"Goo" Morning Everyone! We have another Goo Times Giveaway today! However, we are going to mix it up a bit and instead of free sandwich cards were are going to giveaway five (5), ten dollar ($10) gift certificates (along with a couple of "bonus" free sandwich cards that Raging Bull will be sending out!).
Today, let us know, if you would prefer the Sourdough Soup Bowl Combo or the French Picnic to return, either as a permanent menu item or another limited time offer. We will hold a drawing on Monday and any comments posted after 12PM PST on Monday, March 8 will not be eligible!
For example, I, Raging Bull am going to "cheat" a bit and say, French Picnic as an LTO (never can go wrong with brie and garlic every once in awhile) and the Sourdough Soup Bowl Combo as a permanent menu item!
Be sure to check the Goo Times on Monday and email your mailing address to, thegootimes@eriksdelicafe.com and we will get your free sandwich card out to you!

I prefer Soupbowl Combo. Why not make it a permanent menu item? I would like the French Picnic if it didn't have the garlic in it.
Sourdough Soup Bowl Combo!! Mmmmmmm!
Please, please don't take the French Picnic away. Where else can we get such a divine combination.
Soup Sourdough bowl!!! ALL the WAY! Perm item. thanks!
Sourdough Soup Bowl Combo is calling my name!! Add it permanently PLEASE!!
Sourdough Soup Bowl. (Can I make another plee for the Cannonball please? My husband rarely wants to go to Erik's, to my never ending bane, because you guys don't have that sandwich anymore!)
Sourdough Soup Bowl is great as a limited time offer in the cold months but definitely keep the French Picnic permanently - brie, garlic and crusty french bread, yum!
I think the French Picnic should be part of a revolving sandwich lineup, like you do with the soups. I think the sourdough thing kinda works out naturally longterm since you always have soups. Though they kinda fit better in the winter more than anything.
I would love to finally win! Love Erik's!
I love the Soup Sourdough bowl. Way to go Erik's.
Sourdough bowl limited time for fall/winter. French Picnic all the time!
Yummm Yummm I'm getting hungry right now looking at my favorite, the sourdough soup bowl. Good anytime of the year. Let's keep it especially with clam chowder~
I must stand by my wife who will never let me have a moment of peace if I allow the French Picnic to pass from our realm without a fight. I'll even give up my quest to have the Erik Dog a regular menu item at every store. Long live the Picnic (and the Erik Dog!)!
I vote for the French Picnic, it sounds great
like most of the current menu items. But how
can you go wrong at ERIK's ! ! ! !
Love the gift certificate idea too !!!!
Sourdough superbowl asap!
The French Picnic all the way!!! Yummm...garlic, brie, french crispy bread...how can you go wrong?
Please make the Sourdough Soup Bowl Combo as a permanent menu item!
I love the French Picnic. The sourdogh soupbowl won't get me through the hot summer, but if you take away my picnic in paradise, I will definitley cry!
For Sure French Picnic permanent item. Garlic n brie always taste goooood. Sourdough Soup Bowl should be a limited time offer 'coz it best suits Winter time... ----Yum
I would prefer the Sourdough Bowl. I have way more friends who prefer the soup. Of course my husband would say the french picnic. There's not enough of the great veggies that I love on the French Picnic. It's good but not part of the this "Abbot's Habit" lol!
It MUST be the French Picnic! Please! The garlicky gooey goodness must return! Pretty please! Sugar on top!
Sourdough soup bowl. French picnic is too salty for me.
I, Terry Hastings, love the Sourdough Soup Bowl with the clam chowder!!! I would really like that to be a permanent menu item!
Keep the sourdough soup bowl please!! Soup is not only for the cold months...it's delicious year round!
Going to go with the French Picnic. I haven't had it yet (I know!) but it's getting too warm for soup.
I'm with you -- Keep the Soupbowl combo and make the French Picnic an LTO tease when you feel like it!

I love the vegetable soup and may just go and get some today! It is not always easy to find a quick spot that has healthy food. Erics has healthy food and it's delicious. My favorite is vegetable soup with maybe a half sandwich. All of the sandwiches are great and I get a different one every time.
The sourdough soup bowl combo! I am not a big roast beef fan, but I can always find an awsome soup at Erik's.
sourdough soup bowl combo, i always order the soup.
My vote is for the Sourdough soup bowl combo!
Sourdough soup bowl combo permanently please.
sourdough soup bowl combo for sure.
I would like the French Picnic to stay for good. It is an awesome sandwich. I will be sad to see it go in a couple weeks.
We are adding this comment, since there are some issues with submitting comments and Google Blogger (which hosts the Goo Times):
From Ed Aoki: I, Ed would prefer the French Picnic to return, either as a permanent menu item.
I would probably go with French Picnic and I would not mind it being temporary as something better may come along.
I love the French Picnic. Such a great combination. YUMMY!!!
We'd like to add another comment from Bob S (via email): one vote for the French Picnic. got to love that brie.
I would like to vote for the French Picnic. Sounds delicious!
I your soups, so I have to say
please keep the clam chowder bread bowl
as a permanent or at least rotating item.

Sourdough Soup Bowl. I love them. I tear off the bread and dip into the soup to soak it up til I can't get anymore bread without releasing the soup. Then I will resort to using a spoon. YUMMY.
Sourdough all the way!
i love both but would prefer the french picnic to be a permanent item!!!
Yay for barnbuster! Can't wait to try the shrimp croissant :)
