A Goo Times Giveaway: March 5, 2010

"Goo" Morning Everyone! We have another Goo Times Giveaway today! However, we are going to mix it up a bit and instead of free sandwich cards were are going to giveaway five (5), ten dollar ($10) gift certificates (along with a couple of "bonus" free sandwich cards that Raging Bull will be sending out!).

Today, let us know, if you would prefer the Sourdough Soup Bowl Combo or the French Picnic to return, either as a permanent menu item or another limited time offer. We will hold a drawing on Monday and any comments posted after 12PM PST on Monday, March 8 will not be eligible!

For example, I, Raging Bull am going to "cheat" a bit and say, French Picnic as an LTO (never can go wrong with brie and garlic every once in awhile) and the Sourdough Soup Bowl Combo as a permanent menu item!

Be sure to check the Goo Times on Monday and email your mailing address to, thegootimes@eriksdelicafe.com and we will get your free sandwich card out to you!

I prefer Soupbowl Combo. Why not make it a permanent menu item? I would like the French Picnic if it didn't have the garlic in it.

Sourdough Soup Bowl. (Can I make another plee for the Cannonball please? My husband rarely wants to go to Erik's, to my never ending bane, because you guys don't have that sandwich anymore!)

Sourdough Soup Bowl is great as a limited time offer in the cold months but definitely keep the French Picnic permanently - brie, garlic and crusty french bread, yum!

I think the French Picnic should be part of a revolving sandwich lineup, like you do with the soups. I think the sourdough thing kinda works out naturally longterm since you always have soups. Though they kinda fit better in the winter more than anything.

I would love to finally win! Love Erik's!

I must stand by my wife who will never let me have a moment of peace if I allow the French Picnic to pass from our realm without a fight. I'll even give up my quest to have the Erik Dog a regular menu item at every store. Long live the Picnic (and the Erik Dog!)!

I would prefer the Sourdough Bowl. I have way more friends who prefer the soup. Of course my husband would say the french picnic. There's not enough of the great veggies that I love on the French Picnic. It's good but not part of the this "Abbot's Habit" lol!

I love the vegetable soup and may just go and get some today! It is not always easy to find a quick spot that has healthy food. Erics has healthy food and it's delicious. My favorite is vegetable soup with maybe a half sandwich. All of the sandwiches are great and I get a different one every time.

From Ed Aoki: I, Ed would prefer the French Picnic to return, either as a permanent menu item.

Sourdough Soup Bowl. I love them. I tear off the bread and dip into the soup to soak it up til I can't get anymore bread without releasing the soup. Then I will resort to using a spoon. YUMMY.
