A GOO TIMES GIVEAWAY: October 21, 2010 ("We're Celebrating!")

A GOO TIMES GIVEAWAY: OCTOBER 1, 2010 ("An Exclusive Offer - Got Pickles")

Good Morning Everyone!

We have a special offer this Email Club Blast - get a jar of Kosher Dill Pickles for half off with any purchase!

Also, be sure to check out previous posts to see if you were a winner of a previous Goo Times Giveaway!

We will also likely be doing a BOGO Free for Halloween! Be sure to check your email around October 29th!

For this Goo Times Giveaway we will be giving away ten (10), five dollar ($5.00) gift cards! And as noted during previous Giveaways, the first person to post and our "best comment" winner will receive a free sandwich card.

The ten (10) Gift Cards will be given away via a drawing!

WE'RE CELEBRATING: to be eligible, please let us know which soup you think we should package and sell as a take home selection!

All comments received after 1030am on Thursday, October 21, 2010 will be eligible for the drawing. Those comments received after 12pm on Monday, October 25, 2010 will not be eligible.

For example, I Raging Bull, wouldn't mind being able to bring some chicken vegetable rice (or "cvr" as I affectionately call it) home to get me through the week. However, I also have to give a "shout out" to Butternut Squash and Jambalaya, two more soups that could feed me for weeks!

Winners will be picked at random based on comments left below. Please check back in with the Goo Times to see if you are a winner!

If you are a winner, please email thegootimes@eriksdelicafe.com and we will get your free sandwich card or gift card mailed out to you!

Thanks and have a Safe and Fun Weekend!

Till Next Time...

OK, maybe not me as a soup, but I dig your tomato soup and if I could take that home for later consumption, I'd be rocking out!

Butternut Squash for sure. I have tried making it at home and can't get it to turn out as good as Eric's is. I was sad last time that I went that it wasn't available.

Chili and/or Clam Chowder - both are faves at our house. And thanks for the pickle special. My one regret when getting sandwiches to go is that they don't come with a pickle spear.

I've only seen it served once (and they ran out just before I got up the counter), but that Hot Dog Soup was rumored to be out of this world. I had to settle for the tomato basil, but it wasn't really settling, as the tomato basil is out of this world. Settling was what I did in the 8th grade, with Mary Beth Motherton. She wasn't good enough for me and I should have known it. My mom sure did. She (Mary Beth, not my mom) turned her nose up at Erik's pickles (!!) and for that, she will never be forgiven. NEVER!

I go a little nutty for some butternut squash soup, Ive tried making it and forgive me for saying this, bought it canned - nothing can beat Erik's Deli Butternut Squash Soup! Dont even dare to buy it elsewhere, youll be disappointed! Just talking about this soup is making me hungry, Im going to get a jar of pickles and some soup...I hope I dont get asked if Im pregnant for eating such a combo!

I think that any of the soups would be great to take home. I especially like the Vegetarian Vegetable.

With the fall and winter weather coming, nothing is better than some warm Butternut Squash soup or Erik's Vegetarian Vegetable!!! If Erik's sold those to take home, we would get them every week!! Delicious!

I really like the butternut squash soup! I have a son who will not eat vegtables and he loves this soup as much as I do. It's good as a main dish, a side dish, or just simply in a dish!
