Our family is a regular at the Aptos Erik's deli. It's a great restaurant to sit and relax in, and it's my ideal way to make sure the kids eat healthy when we eat out. Nothing but 100% excellent customer service when we go there.

Nice, Happy Bday Eriks!

My most frequented Erik's is the Sunnyvale location, 5 minutes away from home. It's the only place around me that I know of where I can get a tasty, yet healthy sandwhich, my personal favorites being the Marrakech Express and the Natural High.

I have an Erik's Deli down the street from where I work - my typical lunch week consists of the half house salad, half pilgirims progress sandwich (love the goo), 3-4 days out of the 5 day work week - not bad :)

Thanks Erik's Deli!!

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and spent my childhood going to many of the different Erik's Deli Cafe's. In fact, no matter where I have lived, it's like you all are following me! LOL!

I left the South Bay and was married and we lived in San Ramon. I was getting used to the area and on my way to the grocery one day when I saw an old friend...Erik's! My husband and I went there regularly thereafter. We then bought our first home in Pleasanton, and when I popped over to Long's (now CVS) to get some items, I smiled when I saw Erik's right there - no kidding - a mile from our house!

When I was pregnant with both of my kids I had that good ole morning sickness - all day long - but the single item my husband could get for me that I loved and always made me feel better, was Erik's vegetarian vegetable soup! :)

From Cupertino as a kid, to Santa Cruz where I went as a teenager, and now to Pleasanton where my kids are growing up eating at Erik's too, thanks for all you have done over the years to keep our friendship!! A very happy birthday to you, friend!!

Happy Birthday, Eriks. The Erik's in San Ramon, located across the parking lot from the Regal Cinema, has become our "movie night" dinner as a regular thing. We love the food and it is sooo convenient. I love the Vegetarian Vegie soup....wish I had that recipe.

from Lynee (via email): I can\'t wait until my 2 1/2 yr. old granddaughter nd her infant brother are old enough to go with me to Erik\'s and bite into my favorite Marrakech Express--One of my favorite comfort foods. Add a cup of soup on the side and it is a full meal.

We\'ll introduce them as soon as they are ready, but meanwhile my daughter and I will just have to do it alone. BUT they live in Pennsylvania, so I have to wait for their next visit or do it alone. Oh my, what a chore--there are several Erik\'s near by on my various errand and appointment lists. My big chore is to decide which one to visit next. Thank you, Erik!

from Janice (via email): Our company, PickPoint Corporation, frequently has luncheons for both employees and clients. Eric\'s is ALWAYS our first pick!! We don\'t even have to pass out menus- everyone knows their favorite sandwich by heart! I personally LOVE the Raging Bull! Just thinking of it makes me hungry for one and I think I will go to Eric\'s today!
WE LOVE ERIC\'S- and all of their great staff at the Pleasanton location.

We love going to the Mountain View deli at any time... which is a big statement to make! My husband likes sandwiches, but insists it's not a dinner food. So he usually refuses whenever I suggest sandwiches for dinner. But after I introduced him to Erik's Deli, he never turns it down. That says a LOT. ;) Thanks for giving us a tasty healthy option for dinner!

My husband & I enjoy dining at both the Santa Cruz & Capitola restaurants. I particularly like the Walnut Pesto Turkey sandwich with no cheese since I am lactose intolerant. My husband usually gets the Raging Bull. We both like the ambiance of both of these establishments.

Erik's is a great place - to eat and to work! So says two of my kids that used to work at an Erik's in San Jose! They still recognize us when we go in for a meal, even though it's been many years since they worked there. That's the Erik's family for ya'!

Happy Birthday, Erik's! As I was growing up in Felton, I got a job in the same shopping center as the original Scotts Valley location and think of it fondly. My boss would always send me on an Erik's run. I now live in Redwood City and am happy to have one nearby. I guess I can never live too far from an Erik's!

I have always enjoyed the Scotts Valley Erik's. In the late 70's & early 80's Baymonte Christian High School was in the 100 block of Bean Creek Road. After school we spent many an afternoon at Erik's Deli in Kings Village. The shopping center was MUCH smaller then, just a few stores. But we always had our favorite REO Speedwagon & pickles around the pot belly stove. Congratulations and thanks for the memories!

We were neighbors with you, Erik, in Santa Cruz, Carbonera, and have been loving Erik's since the beginning. When family was here from Connecticut and Colorado, we went to Erik's in Aptos (where I live now) and they couldn't believe the quality of the sandwiches and salads!!! They were "blown away"! Comments I heard from them were, "If we had this in Conn. or in Colo. they would make a fortune. Never had anything so GOOD!!!"

I agree with them and feel so fortunate to have you available to us here. Now they want to come back to visit so they can go to Erik's for a sandwich. Don't you love it! Thanks for being here for all of us. Happy Birthday and many, mahy more!

Happy B-Day! I work in Milpitas and usually go to that location to pick up lunch. Recently, I was in Las Vegas and I was asked what I wanted for lunch. I said how about Erik's and then I realized that Erik's Delicafe only have locations in the South Bay. Maybe you might consider expanding outside of California, like Las Vegas. I'm just saying....

Thank you Erik's Deli. I have been eating at the Watsonville store since I was a kid. Then I moved to Monterey. Then you opened stores in Seaside and Monterey! I fill up my sandwich card all the time in Santa Cruz and Monterey county now. Also, thanks for putting sprouts on the sandwiches instead of boring lettuce.
