A GOO TIMES GIVEAWAY: August 20 ("Back to School" with Erik's!)

Good Morning Everyone! To "celebrate" the start of school (although we aren't sure if those who were on summer vacation consider it a celebration) we have another Goo Times Giveaway!

For this Goo Times Giveaway, we will be giving away a total of twelve (12) free sandwich cards!

As noted in during previous Giveaways, the first person to post (in response to the question below) after 1030am on 8/20/2010 will receive a Free Sandwich Card!

We will also be giving away one (1) "great comment" card!

The remaining ten (10) free sandwich cards will be given away via a drawing!

BACK TO SCHOOL: to be eligible, please let us know item on our menu you would bring to school as a bag lunch or would have liked to see served at the school cafeteria !

For example, I Raging Bull would for sure pack the REO Speedwagon as a bag lunch! Although the Rio Grande Club is making a push as Raging Bull's new "favorite," you can't go wrong with an REO to get you through the school day!

All comments received before 11:59pm on Sunday, August 22, 2010 will be eligible for the drawing.

Winner will be picked at random based on comments left below. Please check back in with the Goo Times next week to see if you are a winner!

If you are a winner, please email thegootimes@eriksdelicafe.com and we will get your free sandwich card out to you!

Thanks and Till Next Time...

If I could afford to eat out as often as I'd like... I'd take a Pilgrims Progress to school for lunch every day!! I can't get enough of that turkey, avocado, gooey goodness! I've tried to make it at home with pretty much the same ingredients but nobody does it like Erik's : )

If they served the Erik's Rueben at school I might've been a much happier schoolkid. Alas, there were no Erik's back east where I am from, so I was a sad schoolkid. I only became happy once I moved to California and discovered the deliciousness that is Erik's Delicafe.

I agree with jhsu123's comment: how about offering cranberry sauce on the side with the Pilgrims Progress?

Maybe you could experiment with a Special Thanksgiving Edition of Pilgrims Progress this fall with cranberry sauce....AND STUFFING!

Mmmmmm....progress!
