For this Goo Times Giveaway, we will be giving away a total of twelve (12) free sandwich cards!
As noted in during previous Giveaways, the first person to post (in response to the question below) after 1030am on 8/20/2010 will receive a Free Sandwich Card!
We will also be giving away one (1) "great comment" card!
The remaining ten (10) free sandwich cards will be given away via a drawing!
BACK TO SCHOOL: to be eligible, please let us know item on our menu you would bring to school as a bag lunch or would have liked to see served at the school cafeteria !
For example, I Raging Bull would for sure pack the REO Speedwagon as a bag lunch! Although the Rio Grande Club is making a push as Raging Bull's new "favorite," you can't go wrong with an REO to get you through the school day!
All comments received before 11:59pm on Sunday, August 22, 2010 will be eligible for the drawing.
Winner will be picked at random based on comments left below. Please check back in with the Goo Times next week to see if you are a winner!

natural high
i would also have packed the REO Speedwagon as a bag lunch or for a healthier option, any of the salads would have been great at the cafeteria, especially the chicken gorgonzola salad!
The Hot Dog, of course. Followed by the Thai Burrito!
I am writing more because I finally got a chance to be first, in the prior email. I would bring a natural high sandwich, I like the way they taste after a few hours in a bag. perfect for school.
aaron
Thai chicken wrap all the way - no better way to spice up the school day!
I would like to see Annie Ankle Biter, my kids love it!! <3
My favorite, the Pilgrim's Progress.
Pilgrims' Progress all the way!! So fresh and so clean.
Pilgrim's Progress..... yum!
REO Speedwagon, since it doesn't have to be hot to be delicious!
Marrakech Express - yummy
Turkey Walnut Pesto...the walnut pesto aioli makes that sandwich addictive.
I like the Pilgrim's Progress because I'm a big fan of avocado and turkey! What would make it even better is to offer some cranberry jelly on the side. That would be make a great sandwich for school lunches!
If I could afford to eat out as often as I'd like... I'd take a Pilgrims Progress to school for lunch every day!! I can't get enough of that turkey, avocado, gooey goodness! I've tried to make it at home with pretty much the same ingredients but nobody does it like Erik's : )
sweet liberty! which i used to long for while trapped in school
I'd love to take a Pot Belly sandwich to school with me. I'll save the heated ones for when I'm eating at my Erik's.
The Turkey Walnut Pesto a must in every lunch bag.Followed by a cookie or brownie and finished with an Apple juice.
my all-time favorite, pilgrim's progress. i would have loved to see served at the school cafeteria!
Pilgrim's Progress! With Erik's being so close to school, sometimes I do take it as a bag lunch. YEAH!
I'd be happy to find an REO Speedwagon in my lunch every day - along with a couple of your great pickle spears and some chips. YUM!
Five Deli-Days of School with Erik's!
Monday: Still on a NATURAL HIGH from the weekend.
Tuesday: Don't you know I'm ridin' with a MARRAKECH EXPRESS?
Wednesday: Grab that R.E.O. SPEEDWAGON to get me over Hump Day!
Thursday: Need the inspiration of a PILGRIM'S PROGRESS to stay on the path.
Friday: Me and my RAGING BULL are bustin' outta here for the weekend!
Turkey Walnut Pesto is a scrumptious delight intended for all Gods and Goddesses who love their bodies and love great sandwiches!
my kids and I love, love, love Erik's Tomato Bisque soup. They would eat it everyday with their favorite sammie - an REO Speedwagon.
No Brainer.Being a vegetarian my kiddo will eat Del monte happily the whole school year along with the marble bread.
When the lunch bell rings, nothing's better than a Pilgrim's Progress sandwich!
sclark
I'd pack a Tommy Turkey for my little guy and for me the farmer's market.
Pilgrims Progress is my choice for school lunches. Yummy in "kidspeak".
REO Speedwagon with a pickle spear on the side soaking through my brown paper bag. Yum!!!
As much as I love the Pilgrim's Progress, my kids would much rather have the Charlie Cheese-pocket for lunch everyday!!!
Nothing beats a bread bowl filled with chili and topped with cheese.
John
Takin' it out west with the Pilgrim's Progress
All of the comments sound so delicious! I think that I would bring a Turkey Walnut Pesto sandwich, though. And don't forget a side of pasta salad or a green salad--yummy!
The Pot Belly sandwich . . . what a treat for lunch at school. Another reason for children to look forward to their school day!
The Pot Belly would make the best lunch ever. Just don't let my mom know I said that...
Would love to see the Pilgrim's Progress in my lunch box (or my tummy)!!
Abbott's Habit at the school cafeteria would have been great!
Raging Bull would have been all the rage!
If they served the Erik's Rueben at school I might've been a much happier schoolkid. Alas, there were no Erik's back east where I am from, so I was a sad schoolkid. I only became happy once I moved to California and discovered the deliciousness that is Erik's Delicafe.
I agree with jhsu123's comment: how about offering cranberry sauce on the side with the Pilgrims Progress?
Maybe you could experiment with a Special Thanksgiving Edition of Pilgrims Progress this fall with cranberry sauce....AND STUFFING!
Mmmmmm....progress!
