A Goo Times Giveaway: April 15 (Spring Into Erik's)

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the large gap between Erik's Email Club emails! It's been awhile since we've had a Goo Times Giveaway, so to make it up, we are going to "expand" the Giveaway for this Email.

Instead of ten (10) free sandwich cards, we are going to be giving away ten (10) free sandwich cards and five (5) ten (10) dollar gift cards!

To be eligible, please let us know which Seasonal Bread you prefer from Erik's (if any!). All comments received before 11:59PM on Sunday, April 18, 2010 will be eligible for the drawing.

For example, I Raging Bull have enjoyed the Blueberry Buckle (especially when I have a sweet tooth), but you also can't go wrong with the Marble Bread.

Winners will be picked at random based on comments left below. Please check back in with the Goo Times on Monday to see if you are a winner! (as a side note, we know there have been some issues with leaving comments, we are still looking into a re-design for the Goo Times. For comments...correction, please click on the "comments" link at the bottom of the page. You do not have to be registered with Google to leave a comment).

If you are a winner, please email thegootimes@eriksdelicafe.com and we will get your free sandwich card or gift certificate mailed out to you!

Thanks and Till Next Time...

I love the blueberry buckle bread. It’s has the consistency of pound cake, with the natural sweetness from blueberries which also have tons of antioxidants.

The lemon bread is my favorite because it's the perfect combination of sweet and pucker and goes great with a glass of iced tea. Weird, huh?

To say I have a favorite means I have to say there is a yeast. I love all the breads at Erik's, seasonal or not. You might say I am well seasoned with yeast! lol

It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I'm really partial to the hot-dog bun style bread. It's so white and fluffy, I could eat it all day long and never want anything more. Of course, when paired with a huge all-natural beef hot dog, and perhaps some mustard, it's like heaven in your hands. Hot Dog Heaven!

Just tried both the banana nut and the marble bread - delish! I can see the marble bread with a scoop of either chocolate or vanilla ice cream and some chocolate syrup on top. What a yummy dessert that would be. Hope to find the lemon bread and the blueberry buckle - neither of which were at my local Erik's. So, another reason to go back before Sunday!

Seasonal bread? I didn't even know Erik's offered it! Except for the nondescript menu listing ("Seasonal Bread $1.99") on the website, I couldn't find any more information about it, either. What kinds of bread are sold seasonally?

I would have to say that the Marble Bread is my personal fav. I saw that Seinfeld episode about the marble and had to try it - loved it! So now I try to have it as a special treat every now and again.
