Actually the prior two posts are not eligible, if I understand correctly, we must say something about the new sandwiches. I am vegetarian, and really love the brand new Portobello. I better send this now, to be the first eligible post.

The Rio Grande Club Sandwich is fantastic - the ciabatta is a perfect bread for this scrumptious sandwich. Having tried it on Wednesday, I think I have a new favorite! Love REO Speedwagon, but this is "mucho grande!" Bacon, turkey, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, tomato, lettuce - yum! In fact, I think I'll go have one for lunch!!!

@ foundation citizen, one time i was 2nd, and the first person just wrote, "me first" and still got the free sandwich card! :(

as for me, normally i go for a turkey club wherever i go, and sometimes ill add bacon to the reo speedwagon. but it got to be pretty pricey (i think it was $1.25 for the bacon?), so I am sooooo looking forward to teh Rio Grande Club! It also has pepper jack cheese and guac? cant go wrong with that! i am also dying to try the ciabatta bread, as that is one of my favorites, and erik's always has delicious bread!

The Thai Chicken Wrap is one great sandwich. It has interesting flavors and is just a bit spicy. I recommend it.

Truthfully, Thai Chicken Wrap sounds sooo good, but I have to say I'd go with Summer Salad since I'm on a diet ;-) My in-laws are coming to visit me, so I have to bring them to Erik's--it's like a ritual by now since I always take them for lunch there!

Thai Chicken Wrap is on my list
To order next time, that's my gist.
It's intriguing, spicy, & shouldn't be missed
If hubby brings it home, he's sure to be kissed.

And how better than to end the meal?
Along comes Strawberry Shortcake, what a deal!
With fresh ripe berries, red and sweet,
Second Alto singer is swept off her feet.

Thank you Erik's for all the great sandwiches I have had over the years! I started going to your Scotts Valley location in 1985-86. Since then I've moved to the Capitola and Aptos restaurants. Your food is great, and we always enjoy the coupon deals! I really love the Natural High, but I am curious about the Portobella Mushroom Burger and I might try it for a change. I also really enjoyed the Bay Shrimp Salad.
